About Caroline McEnery.


Caroline McEnery, Managing Director of The HR Suite and HR and Employment Law Expert. Caroline is a member on the Low Pay Commission and is also an adjudicator in the new Work Place Relations Commission.

She has also completed a Masters in Human Resources in the University of Limerick, she is CIPD accredited as well as being a trained mediator. Caroline had worked across various areas of HR for over 20 years in Kerry Group and in the retail and hospitality sector where she was the Operations and HR Director of the Garvey Group prior to setting up the HR Suite in 2009.

The HR Suite offer specialist tailored and effective human resources and business solutions to clients throughout Ireland. We have four key departments with include: Human Resource Management; Employment Law; Training and Recruitment.

Based in Kerry, with a nationwide client base of SME's and multinationals, The HR Suite has been growing steadily over the last 6 years.

The company now has over 500 clients throughout Ireland and employs a team of HR Advisors and a dedicated recruitment department.

Caroline speaks widely and writes articles and papers on thought leadership in relation to the future landscape of HR and the challenges and opportunities that presents for employers and employees and she also speaks on the area of employment law, mediation and other relevant HR related topics.

She is also a lead mentor on the ACORNS programme which is promoting entrepreneurship for women and is a member of the going for growth entrepreneurship programme and continuing the momentum programme.

At The HR Suite we strive to continually work on our Corporate Social Responsibility. Through our daily activities we try to promote learning through training and Employment and Recruitment Fairs. We continually try to make a positive impact in the Kerry region and keeping a strong involvement in locally based initiatives.

  • Pieta House
    The HR Suite team felt it was an honour to participate in the Darkness in to Light Walk- such an exciting and worthy cause. Approximately 130,000 people shared the light in spectacular fashion. The HR Suite were delighted to support the Pieta House Masquerade Ball. It turned out to be a spectacular night and such a successful event. We are delighted to say we raised nearly 18,000 for this truly worthy cause and look forward to it being an annual event.
  • Food Cloud
    We at The HR Suite have committed our services to The Food Cloud. FoodCloud connects businesses that have too much food to charities in their communities that have too little. We feel that in a climate of unequal distribution of food resources, Food cloud is invaluable.
  • Caroline is delighted to be a mentor on ACORNS Programme and part of such a growing organisation.
    Having just completed an 8th cycle, Going for Growth has supported over 450 women entrepreneurs to achieve their growth ambitions and measures its success in terms of the participants' increased turnover, additional employment created and the number of new exporters. Going was Growth was awarded the European Enterprise Promotion Award 2015, Investing in Entrepreneurial Skills, and featured extensively in a book Inclusive Business Creation - Good Practice Compendium, published in May 2016 by the OECD and European Commission.
  • Caroline spoke at the International Women's Conference and regularly gets very involved local events and services. An event to celebrate inspirational women and men as they share their professional experiences and provide valuable learning takeaways on topics such as diversity, linking the digital age and entrepreneurship.
  • Blood Donations
    We encourage all staff members to donate blood on a regular basis. 3,000 donations are needed every week and over 1,000 people receive transfusions every week in Ireland. We are glad to help this cause.
  • Paperless project in The HR Suite
    We are now paper free in The HR Suite (absolutely everything is recycled). Creating a paperless environment was an important step toward staying current with developing technologies and remaining competitive in our rapidly changing profession.
